Oral History of Comedy Bar for VICE

As a comedy lover, Comedy Bar was my home away from home when I lived in Toronto (just a short walk from my actual home).

When its 10th anniversary approached, I knew an oral history was the best way to tell its unique story.

It was a beast. I spoke with everyone from the staff to comics – famous and local – and distilled tens of hours of interviews into a tight 2,500 word piece that performed incredibly well and was enthusiastically embraced by the Toronto comedy community.
